Meet Jordan — a free guide to Jordan, hosted by Salim
Meet Jordan is a free, bilingual (English and Arabic) guide to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, made by people who live here. Salim, a Bedouin host, walks you through the country three ways: a seven-question quiz that matches you to the kind of trip that actually suits you, a trivia game across Jordanian history, food and oddities, and a library of sixteen written travel guides.
The guides are the heart of it. Each one is written by hand rather than generated, and each covers a single practical question in detail — what a day in Petra really costs and what time you have to be at the gate, whether the Jordan Pass saves you money, how to camp in Wadi Rum without booking the wrong kind of camp, what the Dead Sea is like as a day trip from Amman, and where to take children. They include real prices in Jordanian dinars, real distances and real travel times, and they say plainly when we think something is not worth your money.
Nothing here is a booking engine. We are not trying to sell you a tour. Some links to tickets and tours earn us a commission, and those are disclosed on the page where they appear.
